Bheemeshwari Trekking

Situated on Cauvery river and is between the Shivanasamudra and Mekedatu Falls. This town is around 100 km from Bangalore and if you have a car then you could reach in two to three hours. The distance of 120 km on Kanakpura/Mysore Road makes it reachable in just 3 hours. Here, you will also find the Asia’s second oldest hydroelectric power station.


The beautiful place is located in the middle of Mysore and Hassan. The list of chief pilgrim centres of the state has the name of Sravanabelagola also. The most well-known landmark of this place is Bahubali statue which is world’s tallest monolithic figurine of a Jain saint, Lord Gomateshwara. The main temple is situated on a small hill and it will take only 30 minutes on foot.

Kunti Betta

This place is located in the attractively unusual town of Pandavapura which is around 130 km from Bangalore. You can also reach here in again three hours. There is also an option of night trekking. If you choose this, you can enjoy the pleasing sunrise on the very first of New Year 2018.

Yelagiri Hills

This hill station is situated in the area of 30 km square having an altitude of 3500 ft. The Yelagiri hills have two famous peaks – Javadi and the Palamathi Hills. The trekking adventure is also there. You just have to drive for 2 hours.
